Andromeda is in the Inn. She may not, however, be instantly recognizable, due to the strange clothing she is wearing.

She's dressed... well, like a witchThere's also a cauldron. Which is smoking. And bubbling. And currently sitting on the table of a back booth that Andromeda's pacing back and forth in front of. And a black cat on top of the table ( Read more... )

Dora doesn't give much thought to the witch at first. But then she doubletakes.

And bursts out laughing. Her hair immediately goes bright neon colors - streaked, and kind of shifting a bit like it can't decide on a color at the moment.

Andy looks up and scowls at her.

"I can still punish you, you know," she says, pointing a long-nailed finger at her. It's not very threatening.

Dora can't respond, she's laughing so hard. "I'm... sorry!" she gasps. "It's just... funny!"

Andy might notice that her daughter's hair is shifting more than it did even when she was a baby.

She has noticed this, yes. And were she not distracted by her own sourness, would probably be wondering what was going on. As it is, she assumes Dora's trying something. Or just... more amused than she's ever seen her be.

"It is not funny. It is uncomfortable and hot and I can't get it to come off."

She attempts again to pull the hat off her head. It doesn't work.

"Ain't it a little early for Halloween, hon?"

Edna Turnblad has just walked through the door with an iron in her hand, still hot to the touch from the latest batch of laundry she's finished. The Inn always manages to catch her right in the middle of her ironing.

Andy looks up and pauses in her pacing as she's spoken to.

"It's never too early for Halloween," is the initial, sarcastic reply. Then she sighs. "It wasn't my decision to wear it."

"Well, how on earth did you get dressed up in such a get up? The Inn do that to you?"

Edna has chosen to ignore the sass for now.

She's normally polite, really. It's just very uncomfortable in this thing.

"Yes. That, or someone's playing a prank." In which case, said someone is in a lot of trouble. "But as I haven't seen anyone who would do that here today, it's probably the Inn."
