When Joan fell asleep, she was in a hospital bed.
She definitely isn't anymore. She is, in fact, asleep on one of the couches in the lobby, curled up in a hospital blanket, and looking rather miserable, even in her sleep.
It's been a rough couple days for Joan, questioning how much of the past year has been real.

Cecily goes and gets somebody (Kaylee, it turns out - she's stronger than you'd think, and not too pregnant yet) to help her carry Joan upstairs to Cecily's room. She kicks Gordon and Luther out (they're not doing anything but sitting there ignoring each other anyway), and they put Joan on Gordon's bunk - the bottom. She's still sleeping. Kaylee leaves softly, and Cecily drags the desk chair over beside the bed and sits there, worried, smoothing Joan's hair out of her face, and waiting for her to wake up.

"Where-" And then she realizes who's sitting at her bedside, and sits bolt upright, even though it made his head spin. "What're you doing here? I told you, if you're just going to sit here and stare, I don't want you. Get out!"

"... Miss?"

"Wh-" And then she realizes she's in the Inn, and sighs a little. For all she knows, she's just still crazy and imagining this. Though why her mind would randomly come up with some new person for her delusion she doesn't know, she's not sure. "Oh. Here."

Viktor's no stranger to illness, as living in a draughty castle will do that to you...

"I was at the hospital before. ...I probably still am, actually."
