The week hadn't started well for Lucius. Awakening with only the dimmest memories of the vaguest nightmares from the previous weeks put him in a foul mood. But he wasn't crazy. He just had to tell himself that a thousand times and maybe it would be true: He. Was. Not. Crazy.

He'd just been under a lot of stress lately. That was bad for the nerves. It was highly probable that everyone went through this kind of thing and simply didn't talk about. So now that he was feeling quite completely himself once more, he had gone out to prove that he was still a fully functioning, very scary Wizard. At first he'd had a lovely tea-cum-dinner with Narcissa. All had gone well. In fact, it seemed that they'd managed to become friends. Step two: he'd even gone into Muggle London ( ... )

Weaving through the street traffic was an interesting affair. Chambers generally wasn't one who stopped to smell the plebeians. He was pretty much business or no. Having finished the utilitarian aspect of this outing, however, there was nothing more that needed doing. Yet, the results had been so promising in terms of his ulterior motive. And, well, he was really fucking tired of the Lair. Empty Lair, at that. So, he was forcing himself to basically... lollygag.

Chambers hadn't lollygagged in years.

It was strange.

Slowing his pace, Chambers made note of his surroundings in a way that for once wasn't the frantic cataloguing of a paranoiac. Oh, he still checked for exits, opportune spots for attack, dangerously familiar faces and such. There were too many years of being on the move and too much conditioning to get past that habit. But Chambers had to admit that in all that surveying, he'd never really seen before. Or more aptly, sensed before. The rich smell of a nearby bakery had never teased his stomach like this. He' ( ... )

Lucius sighed. He was exhausted and there were just too many people crowding him. He'd proven his point already. He'd had a pleasant tea with Narcissa earlier and had been out and about around the masses today. He was sane. All was well. Perhaps it was time to go home. Gringotts could wait for a day and--

Lucius froze. Someone was assaulting him. Who DARED to touch Lucius Malfoy and... cuddle? And PURR? Lucius spun around, half-freeing himself from the restrictive limbs wrapped around him. And he stared down at the boy who was nuzzling him.

"Have you lost your mind?" he hissed, standing completely still. Chambers. All right, maybe it was the pot calling the kettle insane, but it was a legitimate question.

Speaking of aerodynamic, Malfoy Sr. knew how to swing a guy around. Literally. Not that Chambers had really noticed just who it was he'd blunt force dry-humped. He was aware of his legs slipping free of the delectably solid waist as he was spun around. And he could feel himself still spinning even after his victim-cum-carousel had stopped. But little mattered outside of keeping his arms hooked around the thick, strong neck and his nose buried in more of That Smell. In fact, his day just got hell of a lot better for two simple reasons.

He was pressed against the front of his prey now. Who he could feel was quite happily male.

And That Smell was even stronger where Chambers' nose nuzzle.

He was in Gay Kitty heaven.

Chambers didn't bother speaking. All he needed to say was easily conveyed with purring and enthusiastic wriggling.

This time Chambers didn't yowl in surprise. Simply because the water was too fucking cold to even breathe. If he'd know Malfoy was into water sports...

The man blinked out of existence before Chambers could react.

Not that it would have made a difference had he stayed. Chambers wasn't reacting because something Very Important had occurred to him.

Malfoy.

Water sports with Malfoy. In an alley. With serious, dommy frotting. And... biting.

Roger hadn't suddenly been adopted by the Frosty Family.

What the bloody fuck had just happened to him? When did the Penguins of Hades steal his sanity? Chambers stood frozen in place, his mind zipping back over recent events. Well, the ones he could remember. Which wasn't much after he'd smelt that...

...Fuck"Bloody hell, the pheromones are eating my brain alive ( ... )
