Date: 9 July 2001 Characters: Angie, Hermione & Charlie, Ken, Alicia, Katie, Ginny, Jack Status: Private Summary: Angie catches up on some correspondence. Completion: Incomplete
Angie, I've been busy, and I imagine you have as well! I've decided to quit my job and try out for a pro team, which lead to me needing to take in a roommate who will be moving in on the 11th. As the aforementioned roommate is one of those Slytherin Quidditch blokes (Montague), I'm sure he'd like to join us sometime.
Speaking of pints, I've been thinking that we should have a Gryff Quid Chasers night. You, me, and Katie? We haven't really done anything just us, and I think that would be fun. Since I'm not really working, I've got plenty of free time, just let me know when.
Oh, and I had heard that Charlie Weasley was in an accident. I know you're friends with Hermione, so I thought you might know a bit more. How are they? He wasn't hurt badly, was he? I'm planning on writing them a note, but I wanted to find out how serious it was first.
I want to hear everything you've been up to as well! -Alicia
Wow! Going Pro... I miss it! Maybe next year, though. I should be going in for a check-up sometime to see how the cartilege is doing in my knees. They told me if I don't keep off them, I'll never go back to sports, but, well... let's hope they're good enough.
Quid Chasers night? Sounds great. I just sent a note to Katie, as well, so I'll let her know we all want to get together when I write her back.
I'm headed over to the Granger-Weasley household for dinner later. It was serious and he was in Mungo's, but he's home now. I'm sure they'd appreciate a note from a friend whenever you want to send one.
Angie, Maybe we could practice together a bit - nothing strenuous, I don't want you to reinjure yourself! I want you back in top condition so we can play again!
I'm glad to hear that Charlie is well enough to be home. I had planned to send a note, but wanted to give them some space if they were still camped out at St. Mungos.
No need to worry; I understand completely. We should definitely get together for drinks soon. It was tons of fun catching up with you last time. And since I'm not working at the moment, I'm free most nights. Just let me know when is most convenient for you, and we'll make plans!
Hey girl, how've you been? Yeah, I heard about Charlie. I'm working for Neville Longbottom now, and he's been out some to visit. It's good of you to help out like that. I know they'll both appreciate it.
Just let me know when you're free. Alicia and I are talking about doing a bike trip some time, but we've no date set yet.
Good to hear from you. Hope you've been doing well. Good to hear that you've got a job and one you'd like, I'd imagine. I heard Neville has a greenhouse, so you'd be outside a lot. Getting your hands dirty, I suppose? I could help you get dirty, if the greenhouse isn't enough.
I don't mind. Hermione and Charlie are good friends and they've done a lot for me, especially Hermione, so it's just what a good friends should do. Sometimes I don't know what to say, though. I'm not really good with words. I can do things pretty well, but it's hard to know how to say the right thing.
Bike trip? Sounds fun. I wouldn't want to intrude on your time with Alicia. Let me know if you'd like to get together and do something active sometime.
Well, you know it's not a good time unless you get a little dirty, I always say. So I must be having a great time. Which I am, of course.
I'm not entirely sure of what happened to Charlie, just that he was injured badly somehow. I haven't wanted to pry. But actions speak volumes, Angie dear, so I'm sure that what you're doing is saying all that your words are finding difficult. They'll know you care, and that's the important part.
Yeah, the bike trip sounds fun. I had planned on doing some explorations of some of the historical sites around. Even better if it includes something active like biking.
Love to get together. Just name the day. You wouldn't want to go into arm-candy withdrawal, now would ya?
Sounds like a great job. I miss action-oriented jobs. They tell me I can't play Quidditch for at least another season, but I'm going in to get looked at relatively soon. I hope that I can get back out to practice soon, at least. (I've been sneaking around playing a little ball, even though I shouldn't. Hope it doesn't show.)
I went to visit Hermione and Charlie yesterday evening and Charlie's healing and at home now, which is good. I do what I can as a friend, even though it's not always something I'm good at.
Sounds like a great trip. Let me know how it goes. Maybe we can go hiking or swimming or something adventurous (even though I probably shouldn't with my knees, but since when does Angelina Johnson listen to her doctors?).
Arm-candy? I do have quite a sweet tooth and haven't had much sugar lately...
I'm supposed to be meeting Kenneth Towler for drinks later on Thursday, but if we wanted to meet up just after work, I think we could get the boring work stuff out of the way first and then just stay and have a few beers later. Is that agreeable to you?

We'll see you tomorrow evening. Don't worry about bringing anything. I'll cook dinner. Is there anything you definitely dislike?
