[Experiment? What experiment? Link's not affected (yet), but he is curious about find better ways to feed himself. There's gotta be more than just eating raw veggies and slices of meat he found in the big, cold thing. His grandma always made really good stuff, even though he isn't really sure how she did it. She always made it seem so easy ( Read more... )

[And of course Riku, being affected, is doing just that. Naturally he is baffled by this.]

... Just what are you trying to make?

[Oh, was his book open? He hadn't even realized.]

It's a fish stew.

Huh.

[...well then]

Something has to be going on. Wound up doing exactly what you said up there, and I didn't even mean to.

[Wait, what?] You cut up all the vegetables?

Oh, um... okay. [Unknowingly affected, Shirley is now going to get up from her room and go to the kitchen to, indeed, go chop some vegetables.] Would you like me to drop them off anywhere?

Huh? Drop what off?

One onion, peeled, cut in half, and chopped into pieces... one tomato, chopped into pieces... two chopped cloves of garlic...

That's what you need, right?

Yeah, that is! [He's surprised someone cut them up for him.] Uh, are you near the building with the three on it? I can go get it, if you want.

[The sound of someone pushing back a chair can be heard; following that, the sounds of, well, onion peeling. Chopping noises follow, with sniffling and exclamations of "ow, my eyes" mixed in.]

[More chopping noises, but far slower than the last ones, and the accompanying noises are far less pleasant; there's a lot of gagging, coughing, and dry-heaving.]

[Yet more chopping, but far more enthusiastically than both. When it ends, any listeners can hear a very disgusted, very confused Klonoa speaking (mostly) into his journal.]

...What... what the hell just h-happened? Oh god, the smell... the tomatoes... that's n-never going to come out... urk.

Are you okay? [Why did it sound like someone was dying?]

[Action] rupurudu August 4 2009, 06:58:43 UTC
I'll... I'll be fine after a few baths. Urk. ...Why did you tell me to do that, anyway? [Klonoa hates tomatoes. A lot.]

I was just reading something. [He feels bad for the... fuzzy guy... though.] Sorry.

[Chopping noises, then a pause.]

...that was odd.

[Whoops, did someone else just chop up some veggies?]

Sorry, I didn't know people would do it.

[Disturbed, now.]

...'people'? That's not reassuring.

[Chopping noises can be heard, because yes, Celes is affected, she's just not going to go for a swim or anything.]

Oh? Why was I chopping vegetables?

[Sighs] Could you continue the recipe so I don't have to find a use for these then? I'm interested to know what it makes.

[You don't have to type up the whole thing.]

[At least she was taking it all in stride.] Okay! It's supposed to be a fish stew.

[He recites the rest of the directions.]

[Well, this is pretty harmless, and she's weird like that. It seems she'll have dinner for tonight now. And that does look good, might have to try that sometime.]

[Anyway, she does listen to the rest and ends up with a delicious stew, and she definitely enjoys some of it. At least it wasn't grilled fish, that would have been a bad thing indeed.]

That's a very good recipe. Thank you for sharing it.

[ooc: I've yet to try it, but it's definitely on my 'To Do' list.]

You're welcome! [At least some good came from his mistake.]
