Can you go meet the guys to estimate whether they're high-maintenance (ie, will take forever in the bathroom messing with their hair) and sneak a peek at the normal state of the bathroom while you're at it?

How long is the lease, and how good a deal is it? I mean, if it's cheap enough to put up with a little nonsense in return...

450/month. and they take cats. i can go look at the place today, but the other tennants aren't usually home. working and such.

If that's a good rate for room in a shared house (I have no idea) and the location is good for you and the people seem sane enough (as far as you can tell), then at least go -look-. If it still looks promising after you see the place, -then- you can worry about the finer details. I mean, it may be such a disaster that you write it off anyway, you know?
