Remind your mom that despite Obama and his ilk's best efforts, this is not Soviet Russia. You can vote for who ever you want in a FREE country.

I voted for Bush in 2004. I can admit I was wrong. If Obama wins, many people will be saying that in 2012. But yeah, dare to speak out against Obama and you get the full blunt of the media.

Oh, I did. That just pissed her off more.; "NO SON OF MINE IS GOING TO VOTE FOR SOME DICKHEAD REPUBLICAN!"Nevermind the fact that she just spent the last several months convinced that Obama was a Muslim and the Democrats were retarded for nominating him ( ... )

I think Palin was a bad choice, but not necessarily politically(though she is inexperienced). She has a FOUR MONTH OLD son with Down's, and he's going to need a lot of attention and patience in the next few years. If she's the VP who's going to give that to him? A nanny? I'm sorry, but raise your own family. PS) I would be saying this if it were a dude with a 4month old son with Down's. They need both parents. Its not an easy thing to deal with.

I also think the issue with her daughter is ridiculous. She's pregnant, fine. I have no problem with that. But they're all in the media OMG SHE'S GOING TO MARRY THE FATHER WE'RE ALL ABOUT FAMILY VALUEEEEEEEEES! She's seventeen, a shotgun wedding is pretty much the worst idea EVER. I see that marriage lasting....a year, maaaaaybe two. Family values my ass.

...I'm either writing in Ron Paul or voting Independent. I'm not staying home :)

While she's maybe not the best choice... she >>>>>> Joe Biden. Any day of the week. Barack picking Biden is one of the key things that made me write him off.

And I've heard people talk about how Biden is known for 'reaching across the aisle' to toss the Right Wing a bone every now and then. Excuse me? Anybody heard of the AWB94? The guy is about as far from moderate as you can get. >_<

But yeah... I realize I may come off as sounding like some McCain nuthugger, but... like I said, while I may disagree with him on some fairly key issues, I still think he'd be a better choice than Obama.

I'll either vote McCain, write in Ron Paul, write in STEPHEN COLBERT(8D), or just stay the hell home. :(

I'm being to lazy to log out & log back in with my other journal, even thought I really want to use my CHTHULU 2008, WHY VOTE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS? icon.

Yeah, I agree she's better than Biden. He's a huge Bag of Douche. DX

This election is alot like the last one, vote for the person who will fuck us up the least.

I realize I may come off as sounding like some McCain nuthugger

Psssht, not at all.

Also, I'm going to have to encourage you to NOT stay home. Go vote for Paul. The more 3rd party votes the better.

Yeah. That icon = WIN. XD

I was getting aggravated that the media(even Colbert/Stewart) have basically decided to go for the throat with Palin, slamming her on her perceived inexperience and her stance on abortion(the only two issues they've touch one, gee, wonder why), or just making fun of her for being from Alaska... while they haven't had much negative to say about Biden.

But OH YEAH... Biden only fucks up things the Left LIKES seeing fucked up. Like gun rights. :(

I guess I should realize that if a candidate does messed up things that the media approves of, of course they're going to use a soft touch when dealing with them. >_<

But while I still don't know what I'm going to do come November... I have to admit, a lot more of what McCain had to say during his speech resounded with me than almost anything Obama said.

That could be because Obama still has yet to actually say anything after all these months, but I digress. 8D
