Pretty much every time I've been in my car the new Metallica song has been on(my car has Sirius). I really like it, the last 4 minutes or so just blew me away. This might be the first *new* Metallica album I've bought in a looooong time.

Indeed. I was kind of "BLEH" towards it when I heard the beginning, but holy crap. And this is the SOFTEST song on the new album? WANT. XO

They should've ditched Bob Rock 12 years ago. I was worried when they said they were working with Rick Rubin, as he's worked with rappers and such, but the change honestly seems like a good one.

But yeah... while I haven't *disliked* their albums after The Black Album, and I even have a few favorites from said albums... it's been WAY too long since they've kicked ass like this. It's a good thing. :D
