I agree with it not being with the heard but it is weird that it went to them. Very fortuitous and a little bit over the top maybe.

I have to agree with the over the top. I think that's part of why I gave up and didn't listen to TFC until a few months ago, after all of the other stuff from the other books I think I'd had enough. I guess DG just tries to keep it all in the same vein of the whole reason the stories exist is over the top so everything else that happens outside of norm is too. In a way it makes me a little nervous about how the whole thing is going to end. I never thought of it until just this moment though! LOL

Don't get me wrong, I love it. I just needed a break I think and it's been fun re-listening to them. I'm taking a short break before I get into Ashes though.
