Entertainment Weekly has released a photo of Diana Gabaldon in the costume she wears for her cameo appearance in episode 4 of Outlander, which airs this Saturday, August 30th. Doesn't she look fabulous? It's another winning costume by the talented Terry Dresbach. Kudos to the hair dresser, too. Click the thumbnail for full size.

Yes, it's lovely. It's a very baronial looking costume. Ron must be playing someone of great importance.

You're welcome. I think they both look wonderfully elegant. I'm glad to know what to look for, but it would also have been fun to try to spot them. We'll still have to try to spot them though, which may not be all that easy with the number of people in the scene at The Gathering.

I asked Terry if the man and woman beside Ron in the photo were also members of the crew, but I haven't heard back yet. Something I read made it sound like several non-actors involved with the filming were also given cameos.

Someone asked Terry if Ron had asked for such a fancy costume and she said, "No, it was designed by me, for me" which I thought was a cute response. It must have been fun designing for her husband though.

The new TV Guide is showing even more Outlander love. There's an article with two gorgeous pics of Jamie in the scene where Dougal rips off Jamie's shirt to show some villagers his back. I think that will be in Saturday's episode, but maybe it isn't until a week from Saturday. TV Guide covers two weeks at a time now. I
