I'm with you - it certainly sounds as though you are being antagonized into leaving. What a crock of crap! *Is* there something like stress leave? I'd sure take it if I were you. Not good for your little man (or your big one) to be upset at work every day.
Are you part of a union at all? Your work is taking the piss big style. Make sure you write down everything in detail (not just in here, but keep a log of dates, times, names etc) so that if you DO end up leaving, you can present a case for constructive dismissal. But seriously, don't walk out, as tempting as it may be. Go to your doctor and get signed off with work-related stress. Make sure that he/she puts "work-related" on the slip, not just "stress". Make it clear that the unreasonable attitude is causing you and your child problems. The bastards won't have a leg to stand on.

It made my day. Reading about your day at work makes feel terrible, as I am watching cricket at work because they forgot to pay me this week again. I hope they fire me. Hope it works out for you on that.

Hi Robert, i'm glad that winning this has made your day! Where abouts do you live, so I can calculate postage? Also, do you want particular shades of blue for the monkey, or do you want me to just go with my gut instinct? cheers!
