Firstly, these are awesome, thank you!

Secondly, I hear you on having to explain things you thought everyone should just ~know~. Even adults. ESPECIALLY adults. That's why I love Let Me Google That For You so much. 🤣 Just my level of passive-aggressive.

Remembering that even adults don't innately know things helps me when I'm teaching 4yos. Every time I want to tear my hair out for CONSTANTLY having to say the same thing over and over, I remind myself that their only 4, they're only beginning. I'm the one who had to make all the rules of public society a habit they won't remember not knowing.

It's an awesome responsibility. ❤️❤️

It really really is, and while I can enjoy teaching and normally have great one on ones there are just those classes that I simply stare at them and end up saying "I'm not talking for myself, I know this information, but if you're not going to listen then you'll get to try and answer these questions on your own on the test"

But yeah, there's a lot of things I thought were basic knowledge (privating your accounts? needs to be told to kids??? like, what are parents teaching them about strangers online?????) that I'm slowly trying to train myself into just teaching instead of being surprised at the dearth of knowledge
