Who: Scraps and Az
Where: Az’s Suite
When: January 24th, 9 AM.
What: a visit

Scraps found it hard to knock with the water pitcher in both hands and the periodical under her arm, so she kicked the corner of the door instead.  Was that the proper way to summon a princess? She was pretty sure someone would find it disrespectful.  She couldn’t ( Read more... )

The Princess in question had woken up a few minutes before, with a yawn and a quick glance around the room. It had seemed the last few days that it took a moment or two to remember that Jeb was off training in the very early morning, as he slipped out from between the sheets (and sometimes from beneath her) long before she awoke for the day.

She had had no plans for the day yet, so the muffled noise against her door both made her curious and excited. It sounded like...someone was kicking her door? That was odd. Instead of standing around wondering who was outside, as she did for a few seconds before common sense kicked in, she headed over to open he door.

The first thing she saw was a spray of bright, vivid colors. Then, seeing a spray of barely tamed red curls peeking out from behind the flowers, Az smiled broadly. "Scraps!" She leant over slightly to one side, peering around the flowers. "Good morning."

"Is it?" Scraps looked around the flowers. "I thought it was but I wasn't quite sure. Here you go." She held out the flowers. "These are for you. DG had so many and you deserve some too. I picked them. I tamed the wild."

Scraps grinned at Az. "I also need your help."

Taking the flowers was an instinctive move, not one that needed any thought to spur the action. She had to blink for a moment in surprise, eyes wide when they were open. Her fingers curled around the cool surface of the pitcher that held the burst of multi-hued colors, the faint sound of sloshing from within it giving away the fact that there was water inside the vessel. "Thank you," the words came out honestly as her smile softened towards the lithe woman in front of the Princess ( ... )
