Glitch had been trying to find where scraps was for some time, he kept doubling over his steps (unintentionally.) trough the castle. When he made it back to the lab he noticed the papers had been picked up. "Well, thats new." He said to himself and went back to check the rooms and hallways. He stopped at the end of the hallway facing the stone balcony and there he saw it, a shock of red hair. He ran to the balcony and froze when he noticed Scrapes was balanced on the stone ralling. His almost paralyzing fear of heights took over him as he relised that she was up..however many floors and could fall! "Scraps!" he called, not loud enough to startle. "Hey, doll what are you doing up there?" He reached out, but not close enough to touch her. "Its not..safe."

Glitch stepped toward her closer, watching, listening. "I does sound nice, if dangerous can ever be nice that is." He moved to stand next to her as she sat down on the ralling. He felt much better now that she was of of the precarious ledge he watched her as she spoke and felt sadend by her words. "You don't have to be a mouse hiding if you don't want to. I'll help you face the cats." He reached out to put his hand on her shoulder lightly. "You know, I'm pretty sure I'm real. So if I'm a real person, than that makes you a real girl too, even if you are a bit more of a complicated quilt of a girl."

Scraps managed a small smile and her hand moved to lay over Glitches on her shoulder. "I thought you may be a memory, or maybe even made up. I only ever had one other friend. One man looked after me. I remember him, sometimes. More now. Papa Bear. Was he mine ( ... )
