sometimes... i try too hard. i let people use me because
it makes me feel like a person. it makes me feel like i exist.
i try to hang out with old friends and catch up with them, but
they never try to make an effort. i don't want to lose touch with people.

they want to lose touch with me.

that's life i guess.

it sure sucks though.

It sure feels like that sometime. I hope things have changed by now. We change so much later in life, and yet so much stays the same. Sometimes hanging out with old friends is just a rekindling of old memories. Friends that I had the best of times with, but barely see anymore, have more fun reminiscing than really doing anything new

because our lives have diverged so much over time.

Such is the way of life for us, mobile, separate, and isolated. **yet always connected!!** at least we have (had) stuff like this, and myspacebook, etc... Thin strands, holding on tight as life pulls us around :-)
