Being from the Deep South, though not a coonass, I can still relate as I have used 10 pound test line to repair a ripped seam on jeans before.

When I actually did it, my husband died even though it was his idea. He's like, you have no idea who many bad jokes are in this room right now.

Alas, even that did not work, when I arrived at my second party of the night, the bells had come off again though only on one side. Those are some sharp edged bells and I used spider wire. You catch red fish on that stuff.

I guess I need to put them on a jump ring first then sew the jump ring on the pants.
