1. I spent $3 on tissues along the same stretch of Orchard Road about a few days ago. I gave $2 to an old lady, and then came across a man in a wheelchair. He looked like he'd suffered a pretty severe stroke in the past. I gave him a dollar for a packet of tissue, and then felt like the worst person in the world. awww i like so much of this post. and here's a hug for the tissue, too. i have friends who just see the entire thing as a scam, but sometimes the small words of affection and concern spoken when the giving occurs can make a small difference, i feel.

sidebar: i met a corgi yesterday!!! dogs can so make you feel loved like nobody's business O_O

i know =( but it just makes me sad to see old people selling tissue. tbh though, i would rather be scammed out of a couple of dollars than actually pass over someone who needed help

in terms of people in my life, all is awesome. in terms of other stuff (car problems! spending money! job stress!), it has been a ball of stress to start off the year. u___u but that is life. we carry on carrying on.

may your february be less hectic/expensive than mine, lol.
