Shit shit shit! Last night my house was robbed! The thief took a whole bunch of things but most importantly they took my laptop. All my work is kept on there! I have a assigment worth 50% of my grade due in a week and now it's gone! Even the copy of it is gone. It must have still been in the drive

Surely your lecturer will understand that this was something completely out of your control? They can't penalise you for this. Certainly not revoke your visa! You were a victim of English crime, for god's sake! Someone should be here to help you, not make things worse.
