OH MY FUCKING GOD.

I am in the top 5-10% after my first year of law school.

I have graded on to the Ohio State Law Journal.

I cannot believe it.  I'm so excited.  Ashley, we are fucking awesome.

And this is actually the second best day of my week.

The law school has five law journals and you can get on to them either by participating in the writing competition and being chosen or by grading on (each journal has its own policy, top grade in Crim law class, top 10% of the class, highest grade in any class, etc). The main one (OSLJ the one I got onto) is the most prestigious of the bunch, so I'm really freaking excited, because it means I have a shot at being a judicial clerk.

After weeks of licking the feet of the registrar, they finally let me in... Now I will bother everyone about how to footnote because I duct-taped aluminum cans together for four years while growing up. Oh, how good it is to be me.
