\aka/!

Send me stuff, send me stuff! Y'know, whenever you're ready. Otherwise, I'll have to do homework, and nobody wants that.

Hey, don't panic! You can always postpone the snippet for amnesty, and focus on the HCL story... And for the second one you have two weeks left!

*cheers you on*

I am writing Superpower fic for the Amnesty Challenge at ds_flashfiction! And I have inspiration and everything--usually I am a really slow writer, but this one is writing itself really quickly. Maybe because I love the idea of this story so much. \o/

But! I will need a beta when it's finished. Anyone? (It's F/K and will probably be about 2500 words.)
*looks hopeful*

Ouch. I so sympathize--I'm not sure I could survive that.

All right, I'm sending it to you, but work on your own stuff first, okay? I mean, the deadline for mine isn't until June 26. Thanks! : )

*freaks out over challenge commitments*

1. Okay, somewhere in my email I have a couple of HCL prompts for hard_core_hero. I'm going to get at least one drabble out of them this weekend. I can do a drabble. Maybe I should save this until after watching HCL tomorrow night.

2. not a Canadian fandom, despite being filmed in Canada, but my mcshep_match fic is due Sunday night. I have a draft but the story still needs a bit of work. It's currently in the proverbial drawer resting. Or, letting my brain rest. Sunday.

3. I've just bowed out of SGA Big Bang, so scratch the huge frustrated whine that was going to go here. I can't make the deadline. My stupid health has to come first, and I can't write with the speed I used to. I'm not at all happy about this, but hopefully a much better story will eventually come from taking the pressure of the deadline away.

4. ds_flashfiction Amnesty! I am sure I have at least two part-way finished DS fics in my folder that would fit *some* previous DS challenge. I started one for the self-insertion challenge, but it grew a stupidly ( ... )

Wow. That is a lot of WIP:s. At least one advantage of that is that there's always something you have inspiration to work on, right? (That's how it is for me, at least.)

Go you!

Sorry to hear about the SGA Big Bang - but it was a wise decision. Your health definitely does come first. *does not insert long-winded lecture here about how that also covers over-extending yourself on other fic commitments la la la*

I can do bouncing of mcshep_match stuff if you needed. I am so excited for this! I wasn't in SGA for last year's match.

I just wrote a sequel to my flashfiction Soap challenge - The Dumb and The Restless. \o/\o/\o/ You WILL get to find out if the Rays got rescued! All I need now is a beta. Don't worry, I'm not fishing, you've got enough to do.

*cheerleads you on*
