Further thoughts on style

After posting this on the basics of my unique personal look, I thought of the following:

Texture is important: therefore cords, velvet, silk all play a significant role in my wardrobe. I like Purely Australian Knitwear partly for this reason.

What I like about M&S is that their short fittings can almost always be relied on to fit me without needing the hems taking up! (I am lazy like that.)

I agree with you about texture; that's usually the thing that most attracts me to clothes.

I guess you could put this under the heading of "thoughts on style". I use the 'Henry Ford' criteria for my clothing 'style':
- cheap is good and production-line minimal price, non-style is better
- any colour, as long as it's black

Takes a lot of the work and time out of shopping for clothes, even if it doesn't win me any admirers!
