I've been lazy lately watching my soaps and eating bon bons... So, I finally decided to do the thingy Stasia asked me to do a number of days ago ( Read more... )

I agree with this boy. And I don't really look at anyone's journal, (friends page!) so please don't take offense/feel bad if it's been there for ages and I haven't noticed.

And thank you for making a list. I very much enjoyed it deary. And your reasoning for not doing it is funny, so I don't mind at all that it took a few days. :D

I have to say I like the sound of all of those, but 4, 6, and 10 especially hit home. You're wonderful.

Eh... no worries. I didn't change too long ago. Plus, I do the same thing by looking at my friends page.
I've never had a bon bon in my life nor do I plan to.
And soap operas are like a stake in the heart. Unbearable. Terrible acting. Monkey lovers [watch Passions!]. Crap like that.

I agree with you on the whole soap opera situation.
And I had no idea what a bon bon is so I did a Google image search and ended up with multiple pictures of less than half-dressed women and one of a dog and one of a girl by a swing so I still do not not know what it looks like. I remember learning what it was once, but I totally can't remember now.
Anyhow, I guess they're really not that good since you have no intention of ever eating one.

According to dictionary.com, a bonbon is a candy that often has a center of fondant, fruit, or nuts and is coated with chocolate or fondant.
Fondant (from the word fondu perhaps?) is a sweet creamy sugar paste used in candies and icings.
From that definition, I think I have had bonbons. But not knowingly. I just thought they were chocolates. Plus, I hate chocolate with fruit in them. Maybe chocolate covered bananas or coconut candies... but things like raspberries and cherries are disgusting!
My whole perception of bonbons has been distorted. Now, I have the impression that they are closely related to the fondu family. My mind has been blown away. What's my name? Where do I live? Why does everything Bush say sound good to me? Damn you bonbons!!!Go to Hell!!!!

Thanks. One day, I promise you, we will watch the British office.
One day may be a long time from now, but it will occur eventually... haha.
A hamel is of course the hummus camel who, instead of carrying water in his hump, carries hummus! Only a weirdo like me would say something like that...
;D

National Geographic Narrator voice:

"We will observe the hamel, traveling days on end in the barren, arid desert. It survives by storing hummus in its humps. Hamels dislike the Black Eyed Peas, because they find the song "My Humps" to be in fact unintelligible."

Hahaha.
Damn the Black Eyed Peas. I hope a heard of hamels eat them. And they're lovely lady lumps.
