Poor GDT! I really feel bad for him. :(

But it's so good to know they will keep Hobbiton this time around. I'll never see it, but many others will be able to, and they won't have to watch it decay into nothingness.

Yes, such a shame for him that this situation couldn't have been resolved a few months earlier. :(

Yes, it will be fantastic being able to see it exactly as it was in the films!

I'm so pleased that Hobbiton will stay this time as it looked so sad when I saw back in 2004. Please let this be true as it is a magical place.

I hope so too! From what I remember there was a 'no permanent displays' clause with the LotR film rights, but it's possible that the Hobbit film rights don't include such a clause and therefore they can use that loophole to leave the set up permanently? I do hope we'll hear more about this.

Great news about Hobbiton becoming a permanent tourist attraction!

I'm sorry for GDT, but am pleased that PJ is going to direct after all. Please let there be no more delays!

It's gonna stay?! Ohh, how great. Now I want to go back again more than ever. I mean, I loved Hobbiton even with it's white empty holes but... to see it for real? Gosh. What a dream. Future fans will be lucky indeed. :)
