I hope so too! From what I remember there was a 'no permanent displays' clause with the LotR film rights, but it's possible that the Hobbit film rights don't include such a clause and therefore they can use that loophole to leave the set up permanently? I do hope we'll hear more about this.
It's gonna stay?! Ohh, how great. Now I want to go back again more than ever. I mean, I loved Hobbiton even with it's white empty holes but... to see it for real? Gosh. What a dream. Future fans will be lucky indeed. :)
