Yes, it certainly sounds interesting! I just added a little update:

ETA: Charlize Theron is in it too as Viggo's wife, plus Robert Duvall (rumoured, according to IMDB), and it's the same director who did Guy's film The Proposition - whoot!/ETA

As for the sleep, that's a problem that keeps re-occurring more or less regularly. I do hope I can soon replace my mattress so at least one reason for the sleep problems is removed!

Certainly could be - let's hope the filmmakers agree! ;P

Heh, this is funny, was talking about 'The Road' with Fiona last night...Some quiz show talking about it and one guy saying 'how bleak' it was. I was like 'well duh, dude. It's an apocalyptic story, it's not going to be all rainbows and fluffy bunnies'.

Brilliant casting!

Meh to little sleep. I'm just learning to live with 3 to 4 hours sleep per night...that being on nights when I do sleep. Oh the days when we could sleep for 12 hours no problem *wistful sigh*.

LOL - very true! And yes that certainly sounds like it's a film worth watching just for the cast! :)

Yeah... *joins you in wistful sigh* Often I actually lie in bed 10 or 12 hours, but I'm not sleeping through. I really hope my sister can get that quote for a new mattress soon - I am certain at least part of my sleeping problems can blamed on my old one. Thing is I need a customised one since the edges of my bed are rounded, and if I go through my sister's business I can of course get it cheaper. It's only a matter of her remembering to send in the, uh, "pattern"...

Do you live in a high elevation that you get snow so late in the year? My goodness! ;-)
