Mmm, Eastern Promises opened here today, and got some very favourable reviews-
need to go and see it asap, even though I'm not too gung ho on violence.

Bleh, now why am I so far removed from L.A.?

It always depends on the context for me. Switzerland will get it on 27th December. I doubt our craptastic cinema will pick it up - and if they do, it will most likely be dubbed. But who knows, maybe I'm in for a positive surprise... though I'll not hold my breath. I'll be getting the DVD in any case.

They certainly don't, although every now and then you can still come across some really cheesy ones.

I can't wait to see what Rodriguez will do with this! It's about time he has Danny as the star of one of his films, he's been in most of his previous ones after all, but never as the lead. :)
