Yeah, I'm not sure how this is going to work. I'm glad to see him getting such a high-profile role, but his physical look and bearing are nothing like DeForest Kelley.

I must admit I can't quite see him in the role of McCoy either... but I guess we'll find out just how good or bad this casting move is. :)

Leonard Nimoy, who originated the role of Spock, also will be part of the film.

Does this mean he will be in the film I wonder or just behind the scenes in some capacity? Hope he is in the film as his Spock was my favourite Trekkie character. :-)

Probably in the film, I'd guess - Nimoy as Spock might be reminiscing about their early days.
