Laptop, RotK Complete Recordings, New Line vs. PJ and The Hobbit

Not pleased with laptop which suddenly won't connect to the internet anymore, or if it does, only for brief moments. Seems travelling doesn't suit it! *rolls eyes* At least I'm having no such problems on the desktop, so it's definitely the laptop and not the wireless router that is having a problem ( Read more... )

I'd really love to have the complete recordings. Me needs to check this out and see if it's avaiable over here. Thanks for the news! :)

You're welcome. :)

Btw - when do you arrive in Frankfurt on Thursday? My train will be in Fulda at 18:09. Kim will be there around noon already. It's probably easiest if we all meet up at the hotel at some point.

I have no idea what time my train will arrive in Fulda. I'm going to try and wait for Trianne in Frankfurt and hopefully (if we don't miss each other) we can go together on the train. I could text you when I get there or we will just meet up at the hotel?

Either will work for me. Let's do it like this: If you arrive at the hotel and haven't heard from me yet, you text me. If I arrive at the hotel and haven't heard from you, I will text you.

The Complete Recordings, eh? In what respect were the others incomplete? Perhaps it contains the previously censored hobbit-pile in the shower scene, and lots of random clips of Dom and Elijah kissing and making out, when they think no-one's looking...

I wish!

HA - don't we all, even if it was only the soundtrack of those scenes? ;)

I'm SO looking forward to this - I loved the first two.

Oh yes, the soundtrack to those moments would do very nicely, indeed.

It's very exciting!

I was just realizing that one of the ways we could see Sam, if not the others, in The Hobbit is if they bookended the film with Sam reading The Red Book (Bilbo's tale portion) to his kids. Or we could have Arwen and Aragorn telling the tale to their son.

I'm not sure they could manage to get Legolas in there, unless they found a way to shave several years off of Orli. But perhaps they could age him up a bit and have him play Thranduil. The others might also be able to play their parents. I'm sure they could find a way for Bilbo to run into Saradoc and Paladin.
