No wonder I'm so tired today. It just started snowing - wet flakes that melt immediately upon touching the ground and in certain moments it seems to be more rain than snow, but if temperatures keep going down at the same rate as it did between morning and now, it will soon start collecting - further up on the mountainsides the ground is already

But it isn't even Autumn yet!

As a child I thought Switzerland had snow all year round, and people had to ski everywhere instead of using cars. Maybe I wasn't too far off.

You obviously missed this post. :)

Up here you always have to expect snow - I've seen snow in every month of the year. Of course outside of (and in some rare cases, even during) winter proper, it disappears again soon, but it's still so annoying. You can never put away your winter clothes and shoes for good!

Rich put the central heating on today. Yup, it was COLD. Bummer, isn't it? I want warmth and sun - two things this summer (huh!) has lacked. :C xxx

The sun is shining but it's definitley autumn here in the UK now. The summer warmth has gone and there is a chilly nip in the air.

Is this usual to get snow in September in Switzerland?

Oh yes, same here.

Unfortunately it's always (irregularly) usual to get snow here... if only for a day or two. *sigh*
