Oh they're brilliant - they're the kind of stories you just can't set down! And the two (male) heroes fall in love with each other, though they don't get together until the end of book 2. For now there are three books:

Luck in the Shadows
Stalking Darkness
Traitor's Moon

Lynn Flewelling is right now working on book 4 (apparently her deadline is the end of July, so I am hoping it will be released before the end of the year maybe), and she has another book in her contract so I assume she'll start working on that right after.

I still haven't managed to make a detailed post about them - I really should because did I mention they're brilliant?! :D

Oh yes, and the author has a Livejournal: otterdance and she posts small excerpts from the new book sometimes though those are mostly on the Yahoogroup of which I don't have the address handy right now. There's a fan community nightrunner too. :)

Unfortunately nothing that comes anywhere near explicit, though she mentions them having sex, but never in detail. More like "this night Seregil was wilder than usual and the next morning Alec had bruises". Obviously better written than this, but you get the gist. ;) Many are hoping she might get a bit more descriptive in book four... but who knows! Still, it's nice to see their relationship develop.

I don't know any LJ/community that was suspended, but it's just the principle. Seriously! They have now posted they would restore all fiction/fandom journals.
