I've been lurking for awhile now and decided that I really should introduce myself. I've been reworking my house one room at a time and I've got a few before and after pictures.

Ohhhh, this is so pretty! I love your bed and the hardwood floors. And I love the wall color in the bathroom. Such a drastic change. :)

It needed a drastic change- it was pretty awful! Thank you for the compliment on the floors- I laid them myself and I'm quite proud of them,

Thank you! It's really a light blue with dark blue glaze pounced over it with a sponge so it wasn't hard to do.

It depends- how close is Home Depot to you? I got all the wood including the trim there and the rug is from Sam's. The window I did special order from Orca Glass but he had it to me in two weeks... which is about how long I'd need to paint and lay the floor and build the shelves.

The books are extra, of course :P
