Thank you. I was trying to get a better shot of the curtains but it was just too sunny outside and this was the best I could do. I really love how they turned out - maximum girlyness!

It looks so pretty! ♥ I love how you painted all the furniture the same to match everything. I would love to sew a curtain like that, but I can't quite figure out how you sewed the panels together?

You're welcome. After the flat panel was ready, I hung it on the window before I started doing anything else to make sure it was the right size exactly. After I sewed each ruffle I hung it up on the window again to make sure the ruffle looked level.

I do a lot of sewing but I also make a lot of stupid rookie mistakes that make me smack my forehead, so I'd rather take this extra step of obsessively checking each bit of work because I would have cried if I had to rip out and start from the beginning.

I really didn't think that these curtains were going to take as long as they did, but Jesus that was a whole lot of fabric to run through the machine! They took about 4 1/2 hours but were worth it.

Thanks and yes, it's a guest room but I'll be using it when I can't sleep and want to read in bed without disturbing my better half.
