Hi there! I love this community.
I'm Amy. I'm from New York (City) but I'm a Professional Writing major at York University in Ontario, so I figured I'd post pics of my dorm. Which looks like a jail cell.
Here's what my door looks like from inside the room.
^ Pink Floyd album art on the door, Rangers magnet, keys with Rangers keychain (this will become a pattern,) and my Who Was Here paper for people to sign. Oh, and how to get out if the building is on fire =)
My pharmacy.
With a Rocky Horror Picture Show poster on one wall...
And Gossip Girl on the other.
Going clockwise, my bed.
The start of my sports and New York wall. Hockey pics, a Rangers flag, an old Yankee Stadium poster, and one of New York originally all drawn with pencil.
A Manhattan poster, Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, and pieces of the newspaper from the day after the Yankees won the World Series. Then a pair of movie posters, starting with Inglourious Basterds...
And followed by the Warriors (which should probably be with the rest of my NY stuff o_O.)
The view from my window, which pretty much consists of Rexall Centre and snow.
School bags.

Cards on my bulletin board, and a mini Rangers jersey.
The make-up side.
My necklaces.
School books (sorted by class 8D,) even the comics.
Rangers pocket schedule, notebooks and course kits, regular books (I didn't really bring any from home) including a Twilight parody right in front of Mr. Lautner on Rolling Stone (pretty much the only part of the series I like,) a picture of me and my brother, a picture of me and my friend Bhavna, and the bear she won at the Toronto Ex.
Num nums, my Eli Manning jersey, and MY SNUGGIE.
But my Rangers jersey hangs over these shelves, so you can't always see this stuff.
Chair, hampers, and slippers. (I like teal/turquoise. A lot.)
My Yankees jersey and hat, and an AC/DC discography poster (before Black Ice.)
Johnny Cash (err, I swear I didn't mean to flip you all off with this post) and a True Blood poster because it's my faaaavorite ♥.
I never use this light, so I hung my bags on it and stuck in a Maple Leafs flag for my adopted team.
Closet door. One of my all-time favorites.
Inside the closet door. Mirror with night time skin goods, towels, and my counting sheep robe.
Stuff hung up, and extra linens and pajamas on top.
Shoes (including ones that need to be thrown out o_O.)
Boots and my travel bag.
