i've shared this room twice before ( 1 & 2), but this is the "complete" post.
this room is also featured on apartment therapy.
basically, this is my room at home, because i live in a dorm at SUNY geneseo. it's bright, it's organized, and i love it. excuse the lack of natural light and my crappy camera. 25+ photos under the cut.
i recently painted my bed white, which i've been meaning to do for two years. plus got a new area rug. i wanted zebra stripes, but i couldn't find one in my price range.
house plants! the small one in front is a dracaena, in back is a schefflera, the tiny ones are cacti, and i don't know what the big one is. i get pretty much zero light in here, so i'm glad i haven't killed them.

many of you probably remember this, as this idea seems to have caught on here at ourbedrooms : )
shelves are from target.
the plant on top is another schefflera.
these are actually just cd cases. the discs are organized into binders alphabetically.
cd binders.
the black paint is chalkboard paint. that drawing's been up there since day one - he's sort of been my room's mascot since then : )
next on my list of things to do is to get rid of this chair and find a nice white one. this thing predates my habitation of this particular room.
i try not to be so blatant about my fandoms, but my BFF got me this for christmas, and you know ; )

i go to the movies a lot - the ticket stubs on my bulletin board are from 2008 and now 2009.

due to the very small room proportions, the desk was put in the closet to save space. the black paint is magnetic, and everything is attached using magnetic tape.
the blue keyboard cover is from http://iskin.com, and the pink decal is from http://macstyles.com.
a caladium humboldtii and a cactus.
the phone is an ITT rotary i found in some guy's basement and rewired.
i'm a scrabble fanatic, so when one of my boards lost a B, it was time to find another use for it. so i put magnets on the back of the tiles.
