friend departure, doctor who

one of my best friends, chelsea, is moving away this coming week. TO FRANCE. i am so happy for them but obviously quite sad about it too. her husband is an academic and he's doing some post-doc work in lyon in i believe theoretical math? theoretical numbers? something above my iq level that is for sure. i've seen his research papers/thought

I'm sad I never got to know Chelsea and Rudy better. I liked them a lot.

I can't imagine not liking Dr. Who. My kids are super into it and it makes me so happy. Olive hissing that is the best EVER. We just rewatched that episode.

hahaha! Olive! This makes me want to go back and watch the first series again. I was able to convince Jason to watch the entirety of Torchwood with me, but he will NOT watch any Doctor Who. :/
