Harry's terrible when he's angry. He blindly seeks vengeance with no regard for himself, and fear strikes even Draco's heart. But Draco's also the only one who is brave enough to get close to Harry, to wrap slender arms around a slim waist and press lips against the back of Harry's neck.
Harry always scratches and claws and kicks and bites, yet Draco always holds onto him firmly, refusing to let go. He whispers calm, soothing words into Harry's ear and lays tender kisses upon Harry's neck even while Harry fights against him, trying to break away from a restraining grip.
Eventually, Harry's anger simmers to a low, and Draco lets go and steps back, watching Harry quietly. He doesn't feel the pain from the scratches and bites Harry gave him, doesn't feel thin trails of blood from the deeper wounds running down his skin. He just watches Harry.

When Draco hears of Blaise's death, he locks himself into a guestroom and refuses to exit, even when Harry pleads with him. He doesn't even agree to open the door, and Harry, who is just as stubborn, sits outside of the door and waits.
Draco does not even leave the room for meals, and Harry doesn't eat, either. He falls asleep outside the guestroom, head leaning back against the white wood and famished, and before he descends into slumber, Harry hopes that Draco won't do anything drastic and will leave the room soon.
When Harry awakens, he is lying in their bed, and Draco sits by him, looking at him. Draco gazes away when he sees Harry awake, and he says quietly, "Blaise was the best friend I ever had."
Air
"I'm sorry," Harry says quietly, still looking away. Draco doesn't reply, just waits for Harry to continue. "But he killed Hermione and Ron, and I...I thought that Sirius would be the only one."
Draco steps up to Harry and encircles Harry's waist with his arms. Harry looks back at him, startled, and Draco says, "I know how single-minded you become when you're angry, but you can't always let it overtake you. There are people in this world who you will destroy with your death."
"I..." Harry begins, but Draco shushes him.
"You have no need to apologize. I have nothing to forgive."
Earth
"I understand," Harry says, but Draco shakes his head.
"You are well-loved by almost everyone, Harry. You can't understand what it's like to live in an environment full of disdain and hostility for most of your life. I know that your Muggle relatives treated you badly, but when you came into our world, people practically worshipped you and catered to your every whim. I've only ever been treated with barely-hidden dislike and distrust at the very best.
"You relied on Ron and Hermione, but you always had others to turn to if need be. I only ever had Blaise," Draco continues quietly, "and you can never fathom how it feels to lose the only person you have been able to go to for almost your whole life."
A tear trickles down Draco's cheek, and Harry sits up and wraps his arms around Draco, who willingly accepts the comfort Harry offers him. He sobs without making a single sound, but Harry feels the tears saturating his shirt. And while Draco lets out his grief for Blaise, Harry just holds him.
