I feel awful. I used to update like five or six times a day. I also have a buttload of icons to post. Motivation. Where is mine. And I have a lot of pictures to share one of these days, too. ^^

RPGs that limit your leveling, be it actually capping you really early on or making it so going out and freeranging the crap out of a map is impossible, make my skin itch uncontrollably. Like FFXIII, up until that one chapter where you can, you know, actually run around killing shit. The whole time I was playing it I was like OH PLEASE LET THIS NOT BE THE ENTIRE GAME. PLEASE.

I actually dropped FF12 for this reason.

I got halfway through it, and as much as Balthier is probably one of my all time favorite characters, Van, how ever is one of my most hated. I also hated the story. Too political. WHERE IS MY FANTASY!? I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR FINAL POLITICAL BULLSHIT 12. But I could have lived with it.. But then jhsdgjkgdfjk I WASN'T ALLOWED TO LEVEL. I get that they got rid of random encounters, and that a good thing.. i guess? (I don't mind random encounters) BUT IF YOU DONT FUCKING LET ME LEAVE THE MAP AND COME BACK TO A MAP OF FULLY REGENERATED MONSTERS I CAN KILL FUCK YOU GAME. it seemed like the only place they didnt die for good was in weak areas that did NOTHING for my leveling. D: kjsdgksdfgjkshdkfhg .... oh and that fucking square grid thing for equipment. no. I loved the sphere grid in FF10, so I see where they were going.. BUT NO.

/has so much built up rage over FF12 sorry. XD

I haven't played FF13, and probably wont since I don't see myself EVER owning a PS3.

Well, actually, side note, I don't own a PS3. I've been running just fine with my 360 and FFXIII cam out for that, too. XIII-2 will be on the 360, as well, so if you can't afford a PS3, which was the case for me when I needed a next-gen console, just join the ranks of Microsoft.

FINAL FANTASY XII, THOUGH. I don't know, I think I loved it partly for Balthier, because, you know, hell yes, and partly because it was so different from what I was used to. I only really got frustrated at the point where I stalled because I have this need to beat the shit out of games and if you give me too much to do and make it very difficult, I pretty much game-panic and stall completely to run off and play something else. I haven't beaten it yet. I still have three of the four major bads to destroy, though I swear I'm close to being powerful enough for two of them. Maybe I'll pick it up again sometime soon. Get that shit finished.
