I ask again, have you ever considered writing a memoir? Your prose is beautiful.

That aside, the exam sounds like it at least went passably. It went like your professor told you it would, meaning you've met the expectations of the instructor.

The longer it is from my actually sitting in the exam room, the worse I feel. We'll see how it comes out.

Good thing I hadn't spent my savings hoping for a scholarship.

The thing is, you've done that - the decreasing expectations for the performance you've just given - for as long as I've known you. Which is a really long time, actually. So we'll just have to see. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

What you have to understand is, in law school, "me[e]t[ing] the expectations of the instructor" isn't nearly good enough.
