Alternative Fuels: Straight, no chaser

The price of unleaded gasoline here in the DC Metro area is now at around $3.00/gal. (or, alternatively, $0.79/L, for you forward-thinking types), and will probably continue to creep up. Diesel-fuel prices had been flirting with that level, and have exceeded it recently ( Read more... )

your gas is cheap even with conversion! last time i checked(lsst night) the gas price was $1.16/l. i don't know what it is USD and in gallons.

if it's Canadian Pesos you're talking, then according to today's conversion rate, it's US $ 1.02/L for you. Still much steeper than mine, obviously.

Trivia: The U.S. Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Mexican Peso all use $ as their currency symbol.
