I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in the Maryland suburbs.

I completely agree with your Congressman, Tom Davis. How fortunate you are to have him.

I have lived in California since 1985. Growing up in DC, I had no idea of any immigration matters..legal, or illegal. Yes, I worked with many immigrants, but all legal.

I implore you. Before you proclaim your compassion further for illegals, come out here and VIEW what is going on. I have watched Los Angeles deteriorate and many areas turn into a replica of a third world country.

It sickens me.

If anyone wants to come here for a "better life" that's great. But get in line and apply to do so.

Don't bash your way over the border, and demand free housing, medical care and free food.

Mexico treats their own illegal immigrants from Central America with disdain and regularly deports them.
