Ok, so I've had a question put forward to me by a participant about the latest tie breaker voting, and I wanted to put it forward to everybody else, as in the long run it will affect you all ( Read more... )

I'd say the fairest way would be to break the tie so that the icon with the overall most points places higher. If you have ties for first and second place, the icons tied for first should recieve higher placements than those tied for second.

TIED FOR FIRST
Icon 77 - 3 votes in tie-breaker = Second Place
Icon 92 - 5 votes in tie-breaker = First Place

TIED FOR SECOND
Icon 87 - 7 votes in tie-breaker = Third Place
Icon 23 - 2 votes in tie-breaker = Fourth Place

Now I'm just wondering on what i should do with the icon that won the 3rd tie breaker as we don't normally have a 4th place

The icon that got "fourth place" would be eliminated, and would not place in the final results.
