at some point between 406 & 409 (I can't remember when) Em goes to Teds' house and tells him he read Ted's letter 'making amends'. It's a nice conversation where Em admits that part of him wanted Ted's recovery to fail so Ted could be 'punished' and suffer for the way he treated Em. Ted says he understands coz a part of him felt that way too. Em ended the convo by wishing Ted the best.
Later, at Deb's Xmas party (don't ask - it' not really Xmas), they speak briefly and you can see the beginnings of them patching up their friendship but whether that happens or to what extent, I don't know coz I don't know any spoilers about them past 409.
It's practically the only thing my TPM friends talk about during the late winter/early spring (who's going, who's not, who's rooming with who, etc.), and there's a small but dedicated group from all over the world who always go every year. I heard it's one of the biggest slash cons, so it tends to be a little clique-y. But I've only heard good things about it.
One point, though, is that you should make up your mind early, and get your registration in way in advance. There's a pretty substantial waiting list.
