So if anyone remembers from back on my old LJ, I stated last January that one of my goals in 2010 was to read 50 books I've never read before. Well, that didn't quite pan out, but I did read a lot of new books and really expanded my personal library. Throughout the year I kept a record of the new books I had read, and here now is the final list!

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Hadden. I taught this book to my 9th grade honors class when I was student teaching.
Terry Pratchett. Yeeeeah predictable. I recommend Going Postal, it standsalone from the rest of the Discworld books and it's great, too.
Anything by Albert Camus... I hated The Stranger but I loved The Plague.
Animal Dreams by Barbara Kingsolver.
Ruth Hall by Fanny Fern. It's one of the first feminist novels and a parody of 19th century romance novels to boot!
