Okay, the leak is fixed. And I got the new bedroom a/c unit installed today (there was some kind of fault in the machine itself, not the house wiring) and the bedroom is cooling off now :)

Tomorrow the a/c specific guys from the electrical/plumbing company I called are coming to check out the house unit. Hopefully a cheap fix.
