This one stands alone just fine, if you want to dive in. There are references to events in previous books, but nothing you need to have read recently to understand what's going on. Of course, I won't try to stop you from re-reading amazing, certainly.

Deservedly so! What an absolutely brilliant story. I fell in love with the characters all over again, and the story really gripped me right to the end.

And of course I had to go back to the beginning and reread the whole series once I was done - I'm halfway through Shadows Return and looking forward to rereading Casket of Souls again too!

I actually bought the ebook version, although I will buy the book when I can get it.
