Movie recs: Up & Wings of Desire

Finally watched "Up" on DVD. I always love Pixar's work, but this was the most touching, dramatic one they've done so far. Can't say enough good about it. The opening and closing action made me cry. I can't think of what else to say, but "Squirrel

I particularly liked Kevin, and especially how Kevin remained Kevin even when certain information had come to light. :)

I saw Wings of Desire years and years ago. Very strange in a good way. Peter Falk plays one of the fallen angels. Then Hollywood loosely remade it as City of Angels with Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan. OK, but not the same kind of atmosphere. They used one of my favorite songs in the soundtrack--Angel by Sarah McLachlan.
