I need to save something to disc fairly urgently. However my computer says "write once media such as CD-R or DVD-R is not supported by this version of DLA". Short of buying a USB memory stick, is there anything I can do about that? I'm running Windows XP Home Edition.

Try using CDBurner XP to burn the disc and see if that works for you.

Excellent! Once I'd also installed a new version of .NET framework this worked a treat. Thanks :)

I tried dragging and dropping first of all but it just wouldn't access the CD-R. I downloaded the software Madfuzzy recommended and now I can burn away to my heart's content :) Thanks for the input.
