You can buy an extension cord at a hardware store and roam about more freely if 10' is too constricting (they sell 25' - 50' extensions).

Is the experiment limited to wandering in and out of good and bad zones? Are you allowed to try and defeat the system (slip your foot out, pick the lock, zap the electronics with a magnet, wrap it in tin foil, etc. (dunno what mechanism it uses, but assuming it has some kind of radio/gps system in it).

I haven't been very good at checking in on my friends since the babies arrived but I decided to take a look at a few folks that I hadn't heard from in a bit. Imagine my surprise when reading this post! I had to go back and see what was going on. *grin*

Love ya, miss ya.

Omigosh, that happened to me, too! Lol! I was like "What? Ottowabill is under house arrest?"

I really need to learn to go back and start reading posts from the last one I stopped at, instead of reading the latest ones first as they scroll on my FL.

I bet you were a HOT topic amongst the wait crew!

I guess that that is one of the experiences that should be measured. Whether or not service is affected, if you are actually turned away from anywhere, if people are rude to you etc as those are experiences that the future RL users may well face.

Just curious though as to why you can't recharge while you sleep? That would have seemed the most logical time to do it.

Fascinating

Why don't you just rent a movie and watch that while jessibud July 30 2008, 01:46:59 UTC
it charges? The time will pass before you know it...

I have to admit, you also gave me a start, when I first read this. I thought that you'd been pushed over the edge and gone and done something really silly..... (I have felt close, myself, this past year, let me tell you. ;-p)
