Samurai 7!

Masa's latest play 『SAMURAI 7』has a website here! Masa looks smokin' hot as Kyuzo and Shinotani Hijiri looks almost unrecognisable as Katsushiro.

I syndicated the blog feed samurai7blog but I don't have very high hopes that it will be updated with awesome rehearsal pictures. I wish I could see Masa wielding double blades that fit into one sheath on his back!

Now I just hope that The Elephant Dreams (or whatever that play is called) gets a website. And that Altar Boyz updates the site eventually! I am desperate for pictures of Masa in costume, as no one seems to ever report on his productions. m(u_u)m

So they are remaking the anime version and not the original, bzuh?! I've never seen the anime so no idea what was different, but guess it's easier adaptable to stage than Kurosawa. x)

O___O I had no idea this was playing at the time that I'm in Japan!!! D: *been out of the loop too much lately*
But I don't think I'll be allowed to go see it cuz I already planned to see something else T___T BUT MASA!! I want to see him wield two blades! >_<
