Thanks! The reason I used time skipping in this story is because that's how the idea occurred to me. What would Sam and Samuel have thought if Dean hadn't been there? The rest evolved from there. Plus I thought it would add to the angst of it all.

I love it! I'm so glad you decided to write it. Not only is the concept and the way you've written it awesome, but it's dean/cas! :D And I love how Cas is forcing Dean to develop as a character. All that brother crap angst pisses a girl off after a while. Makes me want to write in this genre, but I already have too many fics on the go. :(
