Title: Unexpected Destinies Rating: PG-13 Spoilers: up to and including Exile on Main St., AU from the end of season 5 Warnings: AU, slash Word Count: 2,347 Summary: Team Angel needs to figure out where they stand.
Lol, hmm, I'll see about that. I've got various ideas for scenes that just have 'random, extra angels' and this might be fun to add in there. I hadn't even planned on using Cassiel except when I needed Xarael to have the name of another angel, I decided to go with a real one instead of a made up one. Thanks! That's really where I wanted this to go. Did you notice he used Mike here instead of Mikey?
I certainly did. He called him 'Mikey' when he didn't like him and he also said it that way. 'Mike' is like 'Cas', friendly, but Michael still glared, like Sam did about the 'Sammy' XD I bet Michael would give up and not even notice the nickname after a while XD
I so love this chapter, mainly because it shows that Dean and Michael are starting to become friends and I think it's awesome that Dean wants to start picking fun at him. Michael is like Sammy 2.0!!!!
Also, I'm so glad you referred us back to chapter 10, because I remembered the name but had no clue who she was! Can't wait to see what happens with the new fallen angel!!
Yes, Michael will need to learn that being liked by Dean doesn't mean that he's safe from his remarks or teasing. That might take a while to learn :) I kinda figured that would be the case. I remember as I've been planning it and know what she's been up to since getting out, but it's been 34 chapters!
Well, at least now we know what Dean will do when all this stupid Apocalypse is over: he will teach "How to be a good little human 101". A basic course for every half-serious angel of Heaven. Loved how Dean was not jealous of Xariel (Goddess, with all these names ending in -EL... one has to ask where did they left Jor-El and Kal-El?). However, I'll pay gold to see Dean act like a caveman, beat his fists on his chest and scream: "Back off, idjits! Blue-eyes here is mine, only mine!!!" Maybe this will be the only way to make dear Sammy and good old grand-daddy see how our lovable hunter doesn't need them anymore and has a lasting, stable, serious relationship with Angel of the Lord? Hey, if Daddy Chuck gave his thumb up, where is the problem?
Lol, or Cas could teach it with Dean's help like in my other fic. It would come as a shock to Sam, wouldn't it? To see that Dean has actually achieved that but not with the person Sam wanted him too!
Oh, yeah! Great Scott, a very beautiful thing has happened without Sam's mark of consent. Who could be so stupid to do something out Sam's fantastic grand design! >____< (Please, note the sarcasm, puah). Just... ok, Dean has a lot of self-esteem issues but Sam's behavior doesn't help much. It's like Dean can not achieve something good in his life because... well, because he is not enough! Enough strong, enough intelligent, enough big hearted. Because he is not enough like Sam. Well, good for us! Dean just has different needs. He fights because that's the right thing to do, not for revenge like Sam does or John did. Dean needs someone who sees him for him and says: "I love you because you're you and you're perfect to me. I don't want anything else from you. Only smile^^"
Hmm, not sure. He might have to go with Cassiel's whole name as Cass sounds just like Cas. Thanks! And with such allpowerful characters, I need some way of building the suspence. No problem, its been 35 chapters, I figured Simiel wouldn't be at the top of people's minds.
Another amazing chapter. I love it when Dean has to teach Mike human things. Love the line where Dean is worried that he broke Raphael and Micheal's brain. Looking forward to the next chapter.
